What is an endoscopic
forehead lift?
Even after double eyelid surgery, the eyes may still appear heavy if the position of the eyebrows is the underlying cause. Sagging brows can weigh down the eye areas while revision procedures that bring the eyes and brows too close together may also create a tired or heavy look.

What is the Geunal Endotine Forehead Lift?
Endotine is a bio absorbable soft tissue implant that has been proven safe by the US FDA and the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. With five barbs securing it at multiple points, holding sagging skin sirmly and tautly, distributing tension evenly to sooth wrinkles. Over time, the implant is naturally absorbed by the body, resulting in a natural and semi- permanent effect.

Using Endotine can cause hair loss.
This information is based on the content from the 2017 Anti-Aging Plasttic Surgery Seminar titled “Complications of Forehead Lifts” presented by Chief Surgeon Yoo Kyung Han, as well as a review of 57 international papers published between 1983 and 2019. Among the complications of forehead lifts, hair loss is indeed one of them. However, there was not a single paper suggesting a correlation with Endotine. The causes of hair loss are mainly related to significant damage to the incision area, excessive blood loss leading to over- hemostasis, or direct damage to hair follicles resulting in reduced blood flow.
An Endoscopic Forehead Lift is preformed once a day
The endoscope must be sterilized after each use to ensure safety, and the forehead lift is a highly complex surgery requiring precise dissection and fixation. Therefore, we perform this surgery only once a day.
Does Endotine leave marks on the forehead?
Absolutely Not! Endotine comes in two sizes, 3mm and 3.5mm, depending on the length of the barbs, and is used according to the patient’s skin thickness. At Geunal Plastic Surgery, we have not experienced any such complications.
